I am committing to all of you here at Vista Elks Lodge #1968 to, first of all, understand my mission, which is to follow and obey the Principles of our Order; Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and to do so with Fidelity.  

I will be available to you, and I will do my utmost to listen to and hear you. I will ask lots of questions in order to fully understand needs and then try to implement necessary actions.  As your newest ER, I will commit to being a servant-leader, which means I'm not your boss, but a Facilitator of doing good. Any and all major decisions will be handled by the House Committee and the Board of Directors.  

I have a terrific group of PERS and fellow ERs in our District where I can seek wise counsel, and I will lean on them for direction and guidance. 

Added to this, we have an excellent Team of Knights, Elected, and Appointed Officers to help me set the course here at our Lodge.  With the Lord's help, and your involvement as volunteers, and committee chairmen to enact our programs and lead us in serving our communities, we should have a great and exciting new year. I can hardly wait!
